What membership includes
Mediqo provides professional medicines-reference tools. Subscriber access covers the clinical records currently released in the catalogue, with their named product, evidence scope and source-check date. Search indexes, public supply notices and available patient leaflets may remain free. A listing in the index does not mean that its clinical detail has been approved for paid release.
The service is intended for UK pharmacies and healthcare professionals. A membership covers one pharmacy location and one active browser. Multiple tabs within that browser share the session. You can transfer access to another browser; this immediately signs out the previous one.
You need an internet connection and a current browser supporting JavaScript and secure cookies. No specialist hardware is required. There is no minimum commitment beyond the selected paid billing period.
Price, payment and renewal
The monthly plan is £4.99 each month. The annual plan is £49.99 each year. These are the amounts charged through PayPal; there is no setup fee or trial. The chosen plan automatically renews until cancelled. PayPal shows the plan and payment terms before you approve payment. Creating an account does not charge you.
the provider above is the seller and remains responsible for your Mediqo subscription, customer support and refunds. Medicine Services Limited (company number 12062021) is authorised to collect Mediqo payments on behalf of Mediqo’s seller through its PayPal merchant account. PayPal may therefore identify Medicine Services Limited as the payment recipient, and your statement may show MEDICINESER. This payment arrangement does not change the subscription seller.
Access starts after email verification and a verified successful payment. A checkout return page alone does not confirm payment. Payment failure, suspension, refund or reversal can stop paid access. A price change will be notified before it applies, and you may cancel before the change.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel online in your pharmacy account or through PayPal. Cancellation stops future recurring payments. Your access continues until the end of the paid period already verified by Mediqo, unless a refund, reversal, payment suspension or security restriction applies. Your account shows the access end date. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund. You do not need to telephone us. Keep the cancellation confirmation for your records.
If you buy as a consumer, you may cancel the initial subscription without giving a reason within 14 days after the day the contract is made. To exercise this right, tell us by email or post using the provider details above, or use the cancellation form below. We do not ask you to waive statutory cancellation rights. If you exercise a statutory right to cancel, any refund due will be paid without undue delay and within 14 days of your notice, normally to the original payment method. Other statutory remedies for faulty digital content or services remain intact.
A cancellation request can be as simple as: “Please cancel my Mediqo subscription”, followed by your account email, the subscription start date if known, and the date of your request. Statutory remedies take precedence over these terms.
Cancellation form
To: the provider above, the address above; email the email above.
I give notice that I cancel my Mediqo subscription. Ordered on: ____. Account email: ____. Customer name: ____. Customer address: ____. Date: ____. Signature (only if sent on paper): ____.
You may use this form or any other clear statement of cancellation.
Using the clinical information
The professional using Mediqo remains responsible for decisions for the individual patient and exact dispensed product. Instructions can differ by brand, strength, dose form, administration route and storage history. Follow the limits stated in each record. An oral method does not establish feeding-tube suitability; a patient in-use storage allowance does not automatically release unopened pharmacy stock after a fridge excursion.
Mediqo is a reference service and does not prescribe, diagnose or replace professional assessment. Records identify evidence and review dates; we do not promise that every medicine or circumstance is covered. Report suspected errors to the provider so the record can be investigated and, where needed, withdrawn.
Account and permitted use
Keep your account details secure. Authorised colleagues at the subscribed pharmacy may use the account in the permitted browser session. Do not resell access, share it across unrelated locations, bulk-download the database or redistribute content beyond the applicable source permissions. We may restrict access for security incidents, non-payment or misuse and will provide a contact route to resolve it.
Where a record identifies material made available under a Creative Commons or other open licence, that material remains subject to the stated licence. These subscription terms do not restrict the reuse rights granted by that licence. Source acknowledgements identify the scope of such material; a licence for one source does not cover the whole Mediqo database.
Service changes and responsibility
We may update or withdraw a record when evidence, permissions or safety findings change. We will notify subscribers of material changes to their subscription. If we discontinue the paid service, unused prepaid subscription time will be addressed with an appropriate refund.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. English law applies, without removing protections or court rights that apply to consumers elsewhere in the UK.
Confirmation and complaints
We email a copy of your subscription terms and selected plan after payment is verified. Keep that confirmation for your records. For a service fault, complaint or refund request, contact the provider using the email or postal address above. Cancelling recurring payments does not itself issue a refund.
